HPRT SL42 4-inch Direct Thermal Shipping Label Printer overview
The SL42 is HPRT's compact 4-inch direct thermal printer built for e-commerce and courier shipping labels. Because it is direct thermal, it needs no ribbon, and the power adapter is built in to keep the desk tidy.
It prints at 203 dpi and up to 150 mm/s (about 6 ips) with low noise, across a 108 mm print width. Media from 50 to 118 mm wide is supported, including roll or fan-fold die-cut labels and black-mark paper, fed from the rear with automatic label detection.
HPRT uses a print head with a strengthened coating and a larger rubber platen to reduce label sticking, and adds an error-reprint function. The printer connects via USB and uses the TSPL command language.
