RFID readers and hardware for business applications

Build an RFID system around the read point and workflow. This catalogue includes fixed UHF RFID readers for installed zones, handheld readers and RFID sleds for mobile inventory work, and antennas for reader installations. Available listed models include the Zebra FX7500 and FX9600 fixed readers, the MC3390xR handheld RFID computer, the RFD40 RFID sled and the AN480 antenna.

Choose hardware to match the read point

  • Fixed readers: plan antenna-port count, number and placement of antennas, mounting, network and power for portals, conveyors, dock doors or workstations.
  • Handheld readers: check the mobile computer or sled form factor, operating system, connectivity and the staff workflow for cycle counts, picking or asset audits.
  • Antennas: select the antenna type, polarisation, gain and cable arrangement for the tag orientation and coverage area.
  • Tag and environment: test the intended tags on the actual products or materials, especially around liquids, metal, dense packaging and adjacent read zones.

For deployment in India, confirm that the reader, antenna and tag configuration supports the applicable local UHF frequency and radio requirements; regional versions and operating limits can differ. Share the application, tag type, read distance, installation layout and host system with our New Delhi team to discuss compatible equipment and request a quotation.
