Zebra FX9600 Fixed UHF RFID Reader overview
The FX9600 is Zebra's high-performance fixed UHF RFID reader for high-volume read points. It is available with 4 or 8 monostatic antenna ports, delivers up to +33 dBm transmit power on PoE+ or 24 V DC, and has a receive sensitivity of -86 dBm for reading weak or distant tags.
It supports ISO 18000-63 (EPC Class 1 Gen 2 V2) in global and US-only frequency versions. Connectivity includes 10/100 Ethernet, USB host and client and serial, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth via dongle, and there are four optically isolated inputs and outputs for sensors, lights and gates. It runs Linux and supports .NET, C and Java development.
The IP53-rated die-cast aluminium housing operates from -20 °C to 55 °C. Zebra lists warehouse inventory, logistics pallet and case tracking, manufacturing asset tracking and retail item-level tagging as applications.
