Zebra ZQ521 4-Inch Rugged Mobile Printer overview
The ZQ521 is the 4-inch model in Zebra's ZQ500 rugged mobile printer series. It prints direct thermal labels, tags and receipts up to 104 mm wide at 203 dpi, with a maximum speed of 5 ips in draft mode, and is powered by a 3250 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery with an optional 6500 mAh extended battery.
The printer is sealed to IP54 (IP65 with the optional exoskeleton) and tested for repeated 2 m drops to concrete and 1300 tumbles, so it suits outdoor and vehicle-based work. Connectivity covers Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and USB, and NFC supports tap-to-pair.
Zebra also offers an RFID version (ZQ521R). Named uses include field service, proof of delivery, post and parcel, pallet labelling, meter reading, parking and e-citation, shelf-edge labels and receipts.
