Zebra ZD230 4-Inch Value Desktop Barcode Printer overview
The ZD230 is Zebra's value-tier 4-inch desktop printer, aimed at businesses that need dependable everyday labelling without premium extras. It is available as a thermal transfer model or a direct thermal model, prints at 203 dpi and runs at a programmable 4 or 6 ips.
USB is standard, and it can be ordered from the factory with Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.1, or 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.1. It supports ZPL II, EPL 2 and XML, and accepts 127 mm diameter media rolls and both 300 m and 74 m ribbons.
Zebra lists light manufacturing product and inventory labelling, logistics shipping labels, retail price labels and receipts, and healthcare patient identification as typical applications.
