Zebra DS2278 Cordless 1D/2D Bluetooth Barcode Scanner overview
The DS2278 offers the same 1D/2D imaging as the DS2208 without the cable. It uses Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE and can operate up to 100 m from the CR2278 presentation cradle, which also charges the scanner and lets it be used hands-free on a counter.
Its 2,400 mAh Li-ion battery is rated by Zebra for around 110,000 scans at 60 scans per minute. The scanner reads barcodes on labels and phone screens, has IP52 sealing and survives repeated 1.5 m drops onto concrete.
