SATO TG3 Tag and Label Printer overview
The SATO TG3 is a specialty 3-inch thermal printer built around a heavy-duty print mechanism and an integrated cutter, so tags and labels are printed and cut at the same time. SATO lists it for retail brands that need both promotional and functional price tags.
It is offered in two resolutions: the TG308 at 203 dpi and the TG312 at 305 dpi. Both support direct thermal and thermal transfer printing at up to 10 inches per second, and accept labels as well as heavier tag stock.
Tags can carry a brand name, logo, care instructions and product details such as price or origin. A large LCD, an optional programmable keyboard for stand-alone use and an optional stacker make it suitable for batch tagging at the store or distribution centre.
