Canon MK5000 Cable ID Ferrule Printer overview
The MK5000 is Canon's top cable ID printer in the MK range. It prints by thermal transfer at 300 dpi on PVC and heat-shrink tube from 1.5 to 10 mm, flat tube, label tape, plates and wrap-around tape. Speed reaches 40 mm/s in high-speed mode, and a long 150 m ribbon keeps reloads rare.
Cutting is automatic, full or half, with adjustable depth, so thick plate strips can be cut without hand work. A built-in handle and optional rechargeable AA batteries make it easy to carry to site, and the bundled PC Connection Kit supports CSV files and sends one job to several printers for distributed printing.
