Shoplifting prevention solutions using RFID stock control
You cannot stop what you cannot see. RFID helps a store count stock quickly, spot missing items sooner and read tagged goods at chosen points. It works alongside staff, cameras and store procedures, and does not remove the risk by itself.

How RFID can help
- Tag items: use RFID labels or hard tags, chosen for the product
- Count often: handheld readers can read many tags without a line of sight, so frequent counts become practical
- Spot gaps sooner: compare each count with sales records to see what is missing, and where
- Read at exits: a fixed reader at a chosen point can record tagged items passing by, once it is linked to your software
What to plan first
- Which products are most often lost
- Whether your billing software can mark items as sold
- How staff should respond to an alert, including your legal and customer-handling rules
- A small trial in one section, with test readings before any wider roll-out
What this page does not offer
- We do not currently list dedicated EAS anti-theft gates or security tags, so please ask if you need them
- Results depend on the store, the products and how the system is used, so we do not promise a set reduction in losses
