Epson TM-U220 Impact Dot Matrix Receipt and Kitchen Printer overview
The TM-U220 is an impact dot matrix printer used for receipts and kitchen order tickets. It prints up to 30 lines per second and uses plain paper and a ribbon, which makes it a fit where heat and grease would spoil thermal paper.
Epson designed it to replace the TM-U210 without changes to the installation, and describes it as about 30 percent faster. Type B can be wall mounted, and both Type B and Type D accept 58, 69 or 76 mm roll paper.
Paper and ribbon are replaced by opening the cover and dropping them in. It runs on 24 V, with the PS-180 power supply listed as an option.
