Postek iQ Series Direct Thermal Commercial Label Printer overview
The iQ prints by direct thermal only, so it needs no ribbon, and it is built around the life of its printhead. The head and cooling plate are one piece, which moves heat away quickly, and low pressure on the head reduces wear.
An extra coating on the head surface is intended to resist early wear. Bearings support the transmission parts. Both iQ100 and iQ200 are listed at 203 dpi and 5 ips, and a cutter and external rewinder are available as options.
