Argox AS-9400 2D Handheld Barcode Scanner overview
The Argox AS-9400 is an entry-level corded 2D area imager based on a 640 x 480 sensor. It reads common linear barcodes as well as 2D symbols such as QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec and MaxiCode, including GS1 DataMatrix used for UDI labelling in healthcare.
It resolves codes down to 3 mil (Code 39) and 7.5 mil (QR), and can work as a handheld trigger scanner or in auto-sensing presentation mode when placed on its optional stand.
The scanner connects over USB (HID keyboard or virtual COM), carries an IP41 rating and is specified for 1.5 m drops onto concrete. Firmware can be upgraded in the field.
