CipherLab 2500 Series Business-Rugged Handheld Barcode Scanners overview
The 2500 series is a business-rugged handheld for goods receiving, shipping, stock checks, work in process and point of sale. Corded and Bluetooth versions exist in linear, 2D and extended-range 2D forms.
Linear imager models read 578 scans per second, with a thin 3 mm beam at 15 cm that helps when labels sit close together. Bluetooth versions work up to 100 m in line of sight, and the removable battery is stated to run up to 75 hours. The scanner auto-detects USB, RS232 and keyboard wedge cables.
