TSC Alpha-40L 4-Inch Mobile Label Printer overview
The Alpha-40L is the 4-inch model in TSC's Alpha-30L/40L mobile family. It prints direct thermal labels up to 104 mm wide at 203 dpi and up to 5 inches per second, which suits shipping labels, shelf labels and field labelling.
It is built for rough handling. It is IP54 rated and tested for 1.8 m drops (2.5 m in the protective case) and 1.0 m tumbles, and TSC says the series meets MIL-STD-810G for drop and vehicle vibration. A 6,200 mAh smart Li-ion battery reports its condition to TSC Console and SOTI Connect.
Connection options are MFi Bluetooth 5.0 or 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, both with USB Type-C and NFC tap-to-pair. A built-in peeler, an optional linerless kit, forklift mounts and battery eliminators extend its uses.
