Printronix Auto ID T8204 High-End Industrial Thermal Printer overview
The T8204 is the 203 dpi, 4-inch model in the T8000 series, Printronix Auto ID's premier high-end thermal printer line. A 300 dpi T8304 is also available, and the series also comes in 6-inch and 8-inch versions. It prints at up to 14 inches per second, is rated for up to 15,000 labels a day, and has an all-metal enclosure for 24/7 work in harsh conditions.
Its dual-motor ribbon drive takes ribbons up to 625 m, which reduces how often supplies need changing, and media loads from the side. The 3.4-inch colour display has setup and print-quality wizards. A snap-in printhead can be replaced without tools.
The T8000 supports a broad set of printer emulations, with PostScript/PDF and IPDS options and links to ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle. An optional ODV-2D verifier can grade every barcode and reprint failed labels automatically. PrintNet Enterprise and SOTI Connect provide remote management.
