Zebra ZT231 Industrial Barcode Printer overview
The ZT231 is Zebra's entry-level industrial printer for 4-inch labels. It prints in direct thermal or thermal transfer mode at up to 12 ips at 203 dpi (8 ips at 300 dpi) across a maximum width of 104 mm, and has a small footprint that suits benches and space-constrained work areas.
It takes media rolls up to 203 mm OD on a 76 mm core or 152 mm OD on a 25 mm core, and full-length 450 m ribbons. USB 2.0, RS-232 serial, 10/100 Ethernet and USB host are included as standard, with 802.11ac Wi-Fi, an extra Ethernet card and an applicator interface available as options.
A UHF RFID kit can be installed in the field. Zebra lists manufacturing, transportation and logistics, healthcare and retail labelling among the printer's typical applications.
