Zebra ZT421 6-Inch Industrial Barcode Printer overview
The ZT421 shares the ZT400 series platform with the ZT411 but adds a wider 168 mm print area for larger labels such as pallet, drum and carton labels. It prints in either thermal transfer or direct thermal mode at up to 12 inches per second, with a 203 dpi printhead as standard and 300 dpi available as an option.
Media from 51 mm to 178 mm wide is supported on rolls up to 203 mm in diameter, together with 450 m ribbons up to 174 mm wide. Standard interfaces cover USB, serial, Ethernet, Bluetooth and USB host, and two open slots accept optional Wi-Fi, parallel, Ethernet or applicator interface cards.
Like the 4-inch model, the ZT421 can be upgraded in the field with an integrated UHF RFID encoder for printing and encoding RFID labels.
