Datalogic AV7000 8K & 12K Linear Imager overview
The AV7000 is built for package identification on conveyors, tilt trays and cross-belt sorters, where it handles boxes, parcels, flats and polybags. The 8K version uses an 8,000-pixel CMOS sensor and takes a single high-definition view across conveyors up to 1200 mm wide. Its Pulsed Lighting System halves the space the system needs.
The 12K version adds 50% more pixels, extends single-shot coverage to 1600 mm and reads high-density codes down to 6 mil. Both share a patented autofocus system, digital zoom that holds DPI constant, a browser-based interface and redundant architecture. The 12K runs an updatable Linux OS and offers several lens options.
