Datalogic Blade Series Industrial 1D Barcode Reader overview
Blade brings image-based decoding to a compact industrial 1D reader. A 1920 x 128 pixel camera sensor acquires raster and linear images at the same time, which helps it read damaged, discoloured, worn or low-quality labels. With no moving parts there is no mechanical fatigue to wear the reader out.
It keeps the DS2X00 form factor and works with existing mounting hardware, and the range comes down to two models, Blade 100 and Blade 200. Setup uses the DL.Code software, focus is adjustable, and a replacement unit can load its configuration over the network or from a microSD card. Models are listed with Ethernet, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET.
