Datalogic Magellan 3700HSi Horizontal Barcode and RFID Scanner

The Magellan 3700HSi is a horizontal scanner for attended checkout lanes and open counters. Its low form factor keeps counters clear, leaving more room for promotional or seasonal products. An integrated UHF RFID antenna reads tags with barcodes in one scan and needs no added hardware, which helps with stock control and returns.

Against the previous generation it delivers 25% higher throughput on 2D codes, and adaptive decoding handles fast-moving items, phone screens and damaged labels. The 1 MP colour video camera works with external software to catch mis-scans and ticket switching. Colour image capture on the glass and OCR on IDs reduce manual entry. Power consumption is 1.2 W.
