Datalogic Matrix 220 Industrial 2D Imager

The Matrix 220 is a compact stationary imager for direct part marking in automotive, electronics and packaging. The XAI version applies machine learning to scratched, discoloured or stamped codes and uses Decode X to capture DPM codes within 100 ms. Red and blue illumination with polarised and diffused options suits engraved, embossed or laser-etched marks on metal, plastic and glass.

Setup runs through DL.Code with AutoSetup, a single button press starts it, and reconfiguration typically takes under 60 seconds. Electronic focus and rotating connectors help in tight spaces, and IDNET allows multi-reader layouts. It supports OPC UA, PoE, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP. Printed labels read at 50 cycles per second, with an IP65 rating and a range of 0 to 50°C.
