Datalogic Matrix 320 Series Stationary 2D Imager overview
The Matrix 320 series is a modular fixed-mount imager for traceability in distribution, retail logistics, shop floors and packaging. The 5 MP model uses C-Mount lenses and a choice of Very High Power (36 LED) or Ultra High Power (72 LED) illuminators. The 2 MP model has a 1920 x 1080 sensor in 16:9 format, with Liquid Lens options of 6, 9 and 16 mm whose focus can be changed remotely.
Every model has a Time of Flight sensor that sets photometric values from the reading distance, plus an orientation sensor that warns of unwanted movement and stores position data for restoring on a replacement unit. A 360-degree coloured light shows configuration mode and read results. X models use a new processing platform, and Premium versions add a quad-core platform that doubles processing power.
