HID FARGO DTC1250e ID Card Printer overview
The DTC1250e is HID FARGO's compact entry-level card printer and encoder. It prints full-colour cards using dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer and is offered in single-sided and dual-sided versions.
Encoding is optional: magnetic stripe and contact or contactless smart card modules can be added, including at a later date in the field, supporting HID Prox, iCLASS, MIFARE and DESFire credentials for access control and similar uses. The printer connects by USB 2.0, with an Ethernet option that includes an internal print server.
HID positions it for small businesses, schools and local government bodies that need professional card issuance on a limited budget.
