HID FARGO HDP6600 High-Definition Retransfer Card Printer overview
The HDP6600 is HID FARGO's high-speed enterprise retransfer printer. Its 600 dpi resolution reproduces very fine text and imagery, which is useful for security features, and it is rated at up to 230 cards per hour in YMCK mode.
It takes CR-80 cards from 30 to 40 mil, has a 100-card input hopper (200-card optional) and a 200-card output hopper, and connects by USB 2.0 and Ethernet with an internal print server. Encoding options include ISO magnetic stripe and contact and contactless smart card modules, supporting credentials such as iCLASS, Seos, MIFARE and HID Prox.
Typical deployments are larger corporate, government and university ID programmes.
