Evolis Elypso Card Printer overview
Elypso is designed for instant card issuance at service counters, where cards are fed one at a time through a front manual feeder. It shares its print engine with the Primacy range and prints edge-to-edge using dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer.
The printer is single-sided as standard, with dual-sided printing available as an on-site upgrade. Magnetic stripe, contact smart card, contactless and UHF encoders can be added, and the unit connects over USB and Ethernet with cabling at the rear to keep counters tidy.
Evolis highlights payment cards, transit passes, loyalty and gift cards, and healthcare cards as typical applications.
