Evolis Agilia Retransfer ID Card Printer overview
Agilia brings retransfer printing to a compact desktop format. The image is first printed onto a clear film and then transferred to the card, which allows full over-the-edge coverage and good results on uneven surfaces such as smart cards, as well as on materials beyond PVC including PET, PC and ABS.
Its 600 x 600 dpi print head supports fine security elements such as micro-text and guilloches. The printer offers a 200-card input hopper plus a manual feeder, a colour LCD touch screen, USB and Ethernet connectivity, and optional magnetic, contact and contactless encoding. A dual-sided upgrade, electromechanical lock and a card lamination module are also available.
Evolis aims Agilia at driving licences and ID cards, bank cards, education and event cards, employee badges and access control, healthcare cards and police badges.
