Evolis Primacy 2 ID Card Printer overview
Primacy 2 is Evolis's mainstream desktop card printer for medium-volume issuance. It prints edge-to-edge using dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer, in simplex or duplex configurations, and also supports rewritable cards that can be printed, erased and reprinted.
The platform is designed to grow with the user: dual-sided printing can be activated later, and a 200-card feeder, LCD touch screen, card lamination module and a wide range of magnetic, contact and contactless encoders can be added. Security-focused options include a mechanical lock, Kineclipse ribbon data masking and an internal scanner.
Evolis lists uses across corporate badges and access control, government ID, banking, education, retail, healthcare and transport.
